AutoID Consulting was established by a team comprising of members of Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s AutoID Center and leading Track & Trace technology specialists. Its primary mission is to help transform the industries’ value chain by providing innovative methods of applying Track & Trace technologies and re-engineered business practices.
At MIT’s AutoID Center, the team worked with early adopters of Track & Trace technology in Consumer Products in North America and Europe. Besides standards and technology research, the team played a major role in adapting the technology to a variety of applications and built the primary economic justification model that kicked off interest in RFID for Consumer Products.
For the Pharmaceutical Industry, the team developed the initial Safe & Secure Strategy for regulators, standards bodies and the commercial community. The Risk-Based Approach to Technology Deployment was designed to help industry methodically adopt Track & Trace technology. The team members also led implementation of some of the most large-scale, complex serialization programs in the industry.
AutoID Consulting represents a combination of thought-leading research, proven and tested methodologies and tools, in-depth experience rooted in real-life executions, and impartial advice. Together, the team aims to lead and guide organizations through well thought-out and cost-effective deployment of Track & Trace Technologies like Serialization, Pedigree, Authentication, RFID and Barcoding.
